Microsoft Home Use Agreement
The Microsoft Professional Home Use agreement supports
the home use of licensed Microsoft products. All active college faculty and staff
can purchase a single copy of the licensed software for one home computer
or one laptop that is owned or leased by the individual
provided it is used for college-related activities. This agreement
does not include a student purchase provision. By the terms of the agreement,
only faculty and staff are covered under the home use provision.
Terms of the Agreement: Faculty and staff of College of DuPage have the right to use the licensed products for the 12-month period of the agreement. At the end of the agreement, College of DuPage will be able to renew or terminate the agreement. Upon termination, College of DuPage will remove all copies of the software from every college workstation.
Please note that the college does not support personally owned or leased computers. Hardware evaluation, software installation and support is the responsibility of the individual.

Can I continue to use these applications if I am no longer an active employee of the college?

and part-time faculty, full- and part-time classified staff or all
administrators. This does not include student employees or
temporary staff.
- You must use this software for college-related activities.
- You must own or lease the computer on which the software is to be
installed.
- You are eligible to obtain one copy only of each of the specified
software applications.
- The software can be installed on one computer only.
This can be a desktop computer or a laptop computer. Installations on
multiple computers is not permitted under this agreement.

- Under the terms of the agreement, only active employees are eligible
to take advantage of this agreement between Microsoft and College of
DuPage.
- Upon termination from the college, you are no longer covered by the
agreement and must remove the applications from your home computer.
Failure to do so, puts you in violation of the agreement.
- You will be responsible for any losses, financial or otherwise, incurred by the College of DuPage as a result of your use of these applications.
